The Acro Hotel is a 65 room two-star hotel, situated in one of the most beautiful residential areas of Amsterdam. Location
Despite its charming, peaceful surroundings, The Acro Hotel is only a stone's throw from the lively cultural centre of Amsterdam, near the entertainment venues. It’s located in the Museum district (Van Gogh Museum and Rijks Museum within a 3 minute walk) and within 5 minutes by foot you reach the Leidseplein, the Casino, the famous Vondel Park (green heart of Amsterdam) and the Concertgebouw (Concert Theatre). The well-known Albert Cuyp open air market is 10 minutes by foot. Central Station, Dam Square and The red Light District are a 10 minute tram ride away.

From Central Station
- Taxi ( /- EUR13-15), take a TCA-taxi, they are the most reliable;
- Tram 2 or 5 to tram stop 'Hobbemastraat' (behind the 'Rijksmuseum'), from there it's a one minute walk to hotel Acro.
From Schiphol Airport
- Taxi 20min: don’t pay more than approx. (max.)EUR35 . The hotel can arrange a taxi waiting for you at the meeting point as well for EUR40;
- Shuttle bus 30min: straight to the hotel for EUR12 p.p. Check the info on Schiphol Hotel Shuttle on the Internet;
- Train 50min: Go to train station 'Zuid WTC', take tram 5 direction Central Station, get off at tram stop 'Hobbemastraat' (behind the 'Rijksmuseum'), from there it is a one minute walk.
Parking
The hotel does not have a private parking. You can park in the street (public parking) for EUR3.40 an hour (approx. 32 Euro for 1 day) or in the parking garage under the 'Museumplein' within a 3 minute walk for approx. EUR36 for 24 hours.
The cheapest option is Park & Ride (P&R) under the Olympic Stadium for EUR5,50 per 24 hours, including 2 tram tickets back to the hotel!
