Professor Tulpplein 1
Amsterdam
The stately Amstel InterContinental Amsterdam elegantly dominates a quiet, though central section of the Amstel riverbank in the heart of the financial, cultural and entertainment district of Amsterdam. The hotel is easily accessible by car and offers good parking facilities.
Breakfast in either La Rive restaurant, the Amstel Lounge, Health Club (poolside) or in the room, it is truly world-class. Buffets may have become the norm in many hotels, but not at the Amstel Hotel. Here, aside from offering a buffet, one reverts to an old tradition: the Petit Déjeuner à la Carte, comprising of specialties from all over the world.
Since May 1st 2008 Roger Rassin is Chef de Cuisine.
La Rive, the hotels own Michelin star restaurant - the best in town with its splendid location overlooking the Amstel river - is an absolute must during your stay. The Amstel Lounge and the terraces offer light meals throughout the day. The informal restaurant The Amstel Bar and Brasserie are open daily for lunch and dinner. La Rive is closed on Sunday and Monday.
