What shall we do today in Amsterdam?
So, after months of dreaming & saving & planning, at long last you arrive in Amsterdam... and are suddenly at a loss as to what to do. Happens very often, don't panic!
Many people have the time & opportunity to extensively plan their vacation destinations, mapping out a schedule each day.
For the rest of us, it is a case of dreaming, and then suddenly you arrive at your destination and are at a complete loss as what to see, do with your well earned vacation time.
There is so much to see & do in Amsterdam.
A mistake visitors regularly make is to try & do too much in a short period of time.
Our advice is: You are on holiday! Make a list of your priorities and try then to do half!
On your return visit to Amsterdam you will know then exactly what you want to do & see.

What shall we eat today in Amsterdam?
Amsterdam is full of the most delightful restaurants in the world.
The only problem you are faced with is one of choice!
Tell the Hotel your preferences in food, atmosphere and they are only to happy to direct you to the restaurant that will fulfil your highest expectations.
Whether you want Romantic, Rustic, whatever, Amsterdam restaurants really do fill the bill.
The most famous places to spend your evening are the Leidse and Rembrandts square. Unfortunately many restaurants in these areas are rather touristy and we advise partying in these areas rather than eating.

Where shall we walk today in Amsterdam?
Amsterdam is one of the few cities where you really can walk everywhere.
When you arrive back at the Hotel and collapse in the lounge, whispering "coffee, coffee, please" then they will know that you have indeed seen Amsterdam by foot!
Everyone has surely heard about our "infamous" Red Light Area.
Many ladies travelling alone are rather shy to visit this area alone. But imagine returning home and the first question you are asked is, well! what did you think of the Red light area, hey!! Nudge nudge, wink wink!
This is really a very safe area to walk in, but can be rather disconcerting for many people travelling alone....
